Your data, your game
Gamification only works when it stays on your side of the table. Here's exactly how Questline keeps it that way — in plain language.
Game metrics are yours alone
XP, streaks, badges and levels are visible only to you. Other players, leads and managers cannot see your scores — not on a dashboard, not in an export, not in a report.
Managers see work, not scores
Leads and operations see what every team needs to ship: project health, task status, blockers and capacity. They never see your XP, streak length, badge count, or class.
Never used for performance reviews
Questline has a hard data firewall between motivation data and HR systems. Game metrics are never exported to performance reviews, calibration sessions, or salary decisions. The moment XP becomes a KPI, the motivation breaks.
You're always in control
Switch intensity to Light or Focus any time, or opt out of gamification entirely. Your work and history stay; only the game layer changes. No questions, no manager approval.

|---|---|

| Recognize craft with peer kudos | Rank players against each other publicly |
| Use game data to tune your own habits | Use game data in 1:1s or reviews |
| Switch intensity any time | Force a player to opt back in |
